Hello guys. Today I'm making a peach puff pastry me and doren has been task for making Peach Puff Pastry. So enjoy and I hope that you will learn somthing at the end of my report.
Peach Puff Pastry
Hello guys. Today I'm making a peach puff pastry me and doren has been task for making Peach Puff Pastry. So enjoy and I hope that you will learn somthing at the end of my report.
Peach Puff Pastry
- 400gm cake flour
- 50gm butter
- 220ml water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 300gm pastry margarine
- 4 medium peaches
- 1 1/2 cup heavy milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- First combined all the dry ingredients ( cake flour and salt )
- Second pour the wet ingredients ( water )
- Third the fat ingredients ( butter ) do not put the Pastry Margarine because it use to make a layer between dough and fat.
- Forth mix all the ingredients and form a dough and knead for 10 minutes and rest the dough for 1 hour.
- Fifth while waiting the dough rest for 1 hour, take a plastic wrap and put the pastry margarine at the plastic wrap and cover up the pastry margarine and form a rectangle shape by using a rolling pin and chill the pastry margarine for 1 hour.
- Sixth after done the dough rest and the pastry margarine chill for 1 hour. Form and rectangle 4/4 shape for the dough and make sure that the pastry margarine are 3/4 shape rectangle and fold the dough and make sure there's a layer dough and fat.
- Seventh after fold the dough we must fold it again for 4 times and every time we fold we must chill the dough for 20 minutes in the freezer.
- Eight after done for 4 times folding spread the dough by using rolling pin and take the mole cutter and cut the dough.
- Lastly take the filling and topping the dough and put the peaches at the top of the pastry puff and baked for 15 minutes 190 degrees.
Method for filling:
- Combined the flour, salt and egg mix well the ingredients.
- After that put the sugar and vanilla extract in the mixture.
- Warm the milk and pour the milk to the mixture and whisk the mixture.
- Lastly cook the pastry cream in a sauce pot and cook the mixture until the cream turns into custard.
For the end of my report I would like to share my lesson today. What I learn today is the communication and teamwork in the kitchen are so important thing because without these two things you can be label as selfish person or people around you will not feel the cooperation from you. After this no matter what type of my job in the future communication and teamwork are so important.
